ITS LEG DAY!! - 
1. i did weighted squats with a 10lb plate, 3x10!
2. i used the pulley machine around my ankle for my glutes and legs 3x10
3. i did some more weighted squats but with a resistance band around my legs! 4x15
4. i did some barbarian split lunges 3x10

i also ran on the treadmill for about 10 minutes! and did some ab workouts ☺️

Most people approach weight loss by trying to do literally everything at once.  They fail, because it’s impossible not to fail this way. They destroy themselves, fail, and then they don’t learn from the silliness of how much they took on…  because next time they do the same thing again! ❌

Even worse, because they are practicing taking on too much, impatience, and perfectionism, they’re making themselves worse versions of themselves!👎🏼

It’s easy to see that the patient, consistent, and balanced way is the only way to reach your goals!🎯

For example, by working on 2 or 3 food skills (tracking, portion control, awareness, food choices, meal prep/planning etc.) over a few months and then integrating these food skills into your life, you change the kinds of results that are possible for you and your body shape forever.🙌🏼

The No-Nonsense Way to Become Your Best Version of Yourself:
.
Step1️⃣: I.D. your values, pick 1-3 values that are important to you! 3 of my personal & professional values are consistency, planning and self-awareness!
.
Step2️⃣: Apply your values to your fat/weight loss plan. You will probably find that there are areas of your life that you practice your values already but not with your fat/weight loss plan. However, that inconsistency is an inconsistency of itself.  But don’t worry, we all have those.
.
Step3️⃣: Shrink inconsistencies and gaps. You’ll pretty immediately see where you have gaps or inconsistencies between your values and what you practice in real life. And that’s ok! That’s an area you can grow.
.
For example, if you’ve repeatedly done extreme diets where you crash and binge after a month, but you value consistency, a more balanced, rounded, and patient based approach to nutrition would obviously be highly valuable.
.
You don’t need to develop all of your skills at once, you only need to do one skill for now. You can add more later. It’s ok for it to be progressive. The key is small steps, continually, that are in alignment with your values/goals.

It really is that simple: Define your values, apply them to your life, and then shrink the gaps and inconsistencies in your actions.

There’s this big illusion that people who want to be fit have to hit the gym every single day! This couldn’t be more untrue. Or that home workouts don’t work. FALSE! I even had a period in my life where I wasn’t even hitting the gym and I was actually the fittest I’d ever been, doing home workouts only! -
It really isn’t that complicated, you are making it complicated! And I’m here for the enjoyment and I don’t want to burn myself out by trying to do the unnecessary so I do what I feel like- I go to the gym 3-4 times a week, I eat healthy nutritious food primarily, drink my water and I try and move more rather than sitting the whole day! It’s really not that complicated! The thing that you have to do is just make it into a habit and then everything simply flows naturally! Have an amazing Wednesday babes💕

After deleting myfitnesspal and cleansing my soul of all things tracking related, going easy on the cardio and rediscovering my social life, I finally feel like I’m exactly where I want to be. My training is going SWIMMINGLY, I’m eating fuck tons of food, making hugeee progress on my lifts and also enjoying life outside the gym !!! Shock !!! Deleting myfitnesspal is the best choice I’ve made in a veryyyy long time and I am a rlly happy egg because of it. Have an excellent Thursday pals, big love x
