WHY HAVE I PUT WEIGHT ON TODAY?

Let's logically think about this.

1lbs of body fat contains roughly 3500kcal.

You've 'somehow' gained 2lbs over night.

This means that you ate 7,000kcal in excess yesterday without knowing it.

I.e. the equivalent of two large domino's pizza's in EXCESS.

Come on guy's. there's something else going on here. Quite a lot in fact;

1) The time you weigh yourself is mega important. Do this in a fasted state before you've had anything to eat or drink and after you've been to the toilet. Don't have breakfast then weigh yourself...food actually weighs something you know.

2) How hydrated are you? Your water balance can make you weigh heavier or lighter independent of changes in fat. Do this test; neck a pint of water and see how your weight changes...you'll be heavier. Is it fat gain by drinking zero calorie water, or is it because you've just drank water?

3) Your glycogen stores. Have you been training really hard and not eaten enough carbs? Well, you'll lose the carb stores and the water bound to it.

4) Timing of your last meal. If you've had a big meal the night before, it's likely going to be still digesting. Therefore you still have food in your gut. Yes, the still weighs something.

5) Salt causes you to retain water to maintain blood concentration. Had a salty meal the night before? You'll be retaining water.

6) If you've had a super hard sessions and you're sore AF, the inflammation associated with this can cause water retention.

7) Stress = increased cortisol = increased aldosterone = water retention. So, chill the fuck out.

8) Menstrual; cycle. This should hopefully be self explanatory.

SO, the scales will drive you absolutely mental if you solely rely on this as a form of measurement.

Use the scales to track progress over time and to measure trends. Don't get caught up on your daily weight as there's clearly loads going on besides fat loss/gain.

And finally, please don't get emotionally attached to this number. There's more to life than a number on a scale.

To conclude, the scales can be a dick.

Her zaman Upper Body olmaz. Biraz da kalça ve bacak bölgesine değinelim. Şu sıralar bacak gününde bitirici hareket olarak uyguladığım Sumo Deadlift.. Hareketin püf noktası maksimum gerilmeyi ve kasılmayı sağlamak. Bunun için step tahtalarından faydalanalım. Mantıklı kilolar seçip hareketi hissetmeye odaklanalım. 15-20 tekrar aralığında 4-5 set uygulayalım. Öncesinde veya sonrasında abduction makinası iyi gider 👍

So all week I have realised there was not enough green in what I am eating.. may be why a salad sanga is what I grabbed for last saturday treat meal 😕.
.
This is my solution (for now at least). Quick and easy with 2 sizes and a teeny bit of variety .
Big ones are about 100ish cals with peas, broc, carrots and cauli. Small about 40ish cals and has mixes of those with beans ... reason for the mixes ? ... they fit? .
The bags are cheaper than takeaway containers, take up less freezer real estate and can be frozen and nuked.
.
Including the bags the big ones cost about 80 cents each. (Takeaway containers 25cents each and often get chucked....adds up)
.
Looks like veg has no excuses to not be on the menu at work OR  home :)

This is my solution (for now at least). Quick and easy with 2 sizes and a teeny bit of variety .
Big ones are about 100ish cals with peas, broc, carrots and cauli. Small about 40ish cals and has mixes of those with beans ... reason for the mixes ? ... they fit? .

It won't happen over night. As much as you want to just shift that stubborn belly fat or gain that muscle, unfortunately it takes time, consistency and patience.

This is not often advertised when it comes to the quick fix diets and exercise programmes. These tend to me methods of destroying and starving your body for a matter of weeks which yes may get you some results but because they are ridiculous and unsustainable the weight will come straight back on. Why? Because you haven't learnt how to control and monitor your food intake, know what exercises are right for you and learnt enough to be able to live day to day in a non detrimental way.

It may take weeks, months or even a year but if you do it right, take in all the right information, stop going for quick fixes, you will set yourself up for a lifetime of health habits and give yourself the correct tools to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

This is not often advertised when it comes to the quick fix diets and exercise programmes. These tend to me methods of destroying and starving your body for a matter of weeks which yes may get you some results but because they are ridiculous and unsustainable the weight will come straight back on. Why? Because you haven't learnt how to control and monitor your food intake, know what exercises are right for you and learnt enough to be able to live day to day in a non detrimental way.

It may take weeks, months or even a year but if you do it right, take in all the right information, stop going for quick fixes, you will set yourself up for a lifetime of health habits and give yourself the correct tools to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Today we have the infamous golden pyramid of fat loss! 🌟 Have you been spinning your wheels trying to lose fat? ⚠️Here’s the golden pyramid of fat loss for you guys! 
1️⃣Calorie Deficit: Eating less calories than your body needs is the only way to lose fat!
2️⃣Eat Enough Protein: to maintain muscle mass, to recover from workouts, to keep you full & satiated when you’re dieting & so you get toned aka you don’t turn “skinny fat”
3️⃣Lift Weights: 2-5x a week! (usually 3-4 is a sweet spot for most people) don’t be afraid to go heavy, it WON’T make you bulky unless you eat too many calories
4️⃣Sleep: 7-9 hours a night to recover, rest and keep your hunger levels in check. when you don’t sleep enough, your body will be hungrier. so get those Zzzs!
5️⃣Cardio, Movement, and 10k steps/day. Finding active hobbies you enjoy will keep you consistent and make it a lot more fun.

In short, one donut ain't gonna kill you.... but having it, thinking you've failed, saying 'screw this' and throwing out all your good work for the week and maybe even abandoning all those positive principles is a much bigger issue.
