Then I got creative. Add-ins chopped cremini mushrooms, fresh dill, and tomato basil feta. I’m letting them kick it for a bit before un-molding. #fitmeals #mealprep #easymealprep

I'm sorry about the things I said when I was hungry 🤷🏼‍♀️ #TeamAKM .

So diets and eating out aren't always exactly a great combination. BUT with a few tips + being mindful of the choices you are making, it can be done, and it can be done well.. .
My top tips include: .
-Do not skip meals or purposely eat less that day to prepare for eating out because you’re scared of calories; this will just cause you to overeat. Instead, stick to your plan before and after eating out.
.
-Stick to grilled or baked protein options. .
-Avoid fried foods and menu items that have a lot of sauce on them. .
-Carb portions tend to be exaggerated in restaurants (I'm looking at you, heaping pile of rice and potatoes) so be careful with this. A baked potato with no toppings is a good option!
.
- If you're going to have a carb option, choose only one.
.
-Eat your protein and vegetables first to avoid overeating the rest. .
-Don’t be scared to ask the restaurant to make modifications, or have things on the side. You’re a paying customer and they are there to please their clients! .
-Order something that you enjoy! You still gotta live you know. 💕

Wednesday! It has been a very busy day. I’ve also decided I don’t like posting on a night. In other news I got these cheeky lads in the post yesterday. Really looking forward to trying these @pronuts_butters flavours out. I’ve heard great things about them. Gonna experiment with these over the weekend and see how they fare up in some recipes. How awesome do they look? Training wise I’ve absolutely loved it this week. I’ve finally started to really feel like my stamina, focus, endurance and general health is really improving. Changing things up a bit is great for you but you need to stick at it. I’m around 4 weeks in with 2 to go until phase 2. Can’t wait!

I like mine fresh with some light French dressing🤤 Now that Spring is here and summer is right around the corner, I'm breaking out the salads💯 I just love a bit of colour on my plate and it a great way to help meet your #5aday 🌟  I know you probably hear it all the time but fruits and vegetables are really good for your health so please try and hit that 5 everyday😊 Anyway I had a simple dinner today, salad with French dressing, quarter mashed avocado and well done steak🍴

Receta📝 1 camote horneando (hornear 60 minutos a 400°F, recuerda con un tenedor hacerle agujeros antes de hornear), 6-8 🍤 pequeños, 1/3de aguacate, 1/2 jitomate, 1 diente de ajo, 1/4 de naranja ,poquita cebolla , sal , pimienta, orégano, germen de alfalfa. ....

Preparación🍽: Antes de cocinar recuerda pelar tus camarones y limpiarlos. Marínalos con el jugo de la naranja y el orégano. Hornea  el camote. Deja enfriar un poco. Pártelo en dos y elimina un poco de puré para crear espacio dentro de la papa. En un sartén a fuego medio añade el diente de ajo picado , cebolla y 1/2 cucharadita de @saragheemx . Saltea ligeramente la cebolla y añade los camarones previamente marinados. Cocina hasta que tomen color.
En un bowl pequeño haz el guacamole con el jitomate , aguacate , Limón y sal. * Rellena el camote con el guacamole, añade el germen de alfalfa y camarones. ...

Try this easy homemade Italian wedding soup courtesy of my mom’s recipe! 🥣 Packed with nutrients that has high protein and healthy fats! Also perfect for you kept-dieters out there 💪🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This recipe makes about 12 servings or more if you use a cup or bowl:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 cup of carrots 🥕 
1 cup of celery 🥬
1 large onion
4 cloves garlic 
2 cups spinach 🥗
8 cups of no salt added chicken stock 🥘🐔
1 @hillshirefarm smoked turkey sausage 🦃 (you can also use kielbasa)
20 turkey meatballs (I’m lazy and used frozen ones)
2 eggs 🥚 
1 cup Parmesan 🧀 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In a stock pot over medium heat, sweat the onions, carrots, celery, garlic and turkey sausage in olive oil for about 5 mins. Add chicken broth and frozen turkey meatballs then reduce heat for 15-20 mins. Once these are cooked, the meatballs will rise. Add spinach until wilted@for about 2-5 mins. In a medium size bowl, combine 2 beaten eggs with Parmesan cheese using a whisk. Stir egg mixture into soup. Add any spices you’d like! 🍜 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This recipe makes about 12 servings or more if you use a cup or bowl:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 cup of carrots 🥕
1 cup of celery 🥬
1 large onion
4 cloves garlic
2 cups spinach 🥗
8 cups of no salt added chicken stock 🥘🐔
1 @hillshirefarm smoked turkey sausage 🦃 (you can also use kielbasa)
20 turkey meatballs (I’m lazy and used frozen ones)
2 eggs 🥚
1 cup Parmesan 🧀 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In a stock pot over medium heat, sweat the onions, carrots, celery, garlic and turkey sausage in olive oil for about 5 mins. Add chicken broth and frozen turkey meatballs then reduce heat for 15-20 mins. Once these are cooked, the meatballs will rise. Add spinach until wilted@for about 2-5 mins. In a medium size bowl, combine 2 beaten eggs with Parmesan cheese using a whisk. Stir egg mixture into soup. Add any spices you’d like! 🍜 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When I was younger, preparing shrimp was actually one of the first proteins I ever learned to cook. If you are new to the kitchen, I highly recommend that you start with it too! Shrimp takes such little time to prepare and I can almost guarantee that you can’t mess it up. Here is my super easy, crowd-pleasing recipe for Honey Garlic Shrimp:

Ingredients:
3 tbsp honey
1.5 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tsp fresh grated ginger (or ½ tsp dried)
12oz shrimp, peeled and deveined

Add all of the ingredients into a bowl and stir until the shrimp is well coated. If you have some time to spare, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and keep it refrigerated for about an hour to marinade. If not, that’s okay too! Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp, and cook for about 2 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes. Serve with rice or pasta and some roasted veggies or salad and enjoy!

Spicy Peanut Sauce
60 mL (1/4 Cup) Of P28 Peanut Butter
1 Garlic Clove, Minced
5 mL (1 tsp.) Of Ginger, Grated
15 mL (1 Tbsp.) Seasoned Rice Vinegar
10 mL (2 tsp.) Sriracha
10 mL (2 tsp.) Soy Sauce
30 mL (2 Tbsp.) Water

Other Ingredients
1 Pork Tenderloin (approx 500 g)
15 mL (1 Tbsp.) Canola Oil
30 mL (2 Tbsp.) Soy Sauce
15 mL (1 Tbsp.) Honey
5 mL (1 tsp.) Sesame Seeds
------------------------------------
Directions
In a bowl and using a whisk, mix all of the ingredients of the spicy peanut sauce together. Set aside.

In a pan on medium heat, sear the pork fillet for 2 minutes on each side (4 sides). Put the pork filet aside to rest.

Over medium-low heat, add the soy sauce and the honey to the pan and stir to create the marinade.

Roll the pork fillet into the marinade, and transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 10 minutes.

Drizzle generous amounts of the spicy peanut sauce, and serve.

Super easy and balanced bowl upgraded with another @traderjoes dip!  I’ve been loving using these macro friendly dips these days to spice up simple bowls.  I usually like to stick to the basics and then incorporate sauces for variety.  It makes for a really smooth meal prep!

“Everything but the kitchen sink” quiche is my favorite way to utilize leftover produce, meats, and cheeses so that they don’t go to waste! 🥓

I’ll either eat it for breakfast throughout the week or slice up and serve with dressed greens for a light lunch 
This recipe is extremely flexible as long as the quantity remains the same:

I use 9 inch store bought pie crusts from @pillsbury
1/2 cup any type of milk, I usually go for almond 
5 eggs
Any kind of herbs, I went with herbs de Provence
For the filling I sautéed leftover kale and italian sausage with cherry tomatoes that were starting to shrivel 
Sprinkled in olives and grated Parmesan on top
Bake at 400 for 25-30 minutes

Butterbean mash +  kale & sausage salad🌱✨🌱 Don’t get me wrong I love regular mashed potatoes as much as anyone but I saw this recipe by @thefoodmedic and thought it sounded interesting so i thought I’d try it out! It actually turned out so delicious and creamy so would deffo give it a go!! I also added in some steamed cauliflower that i needed to use up  which made it a little lighter✨ It was perfect paired with a warm salad and ofc some tahini dressing (because when do I ever not drench everything in tahini). .

For the salad: Sauté mushrooms with a little garlic + dried herbs. When they’re almost done add in your kale + lemon juice. Top with some cherry tomatoes, olives, leftover roasted cauliflower + chopped up @heckfooduk italian chicken sausages (veggie sausages would also be delish!!) ✨✨ .
Tahini dressing: 1 heaped tsp of tahini, splash of apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp of soy sauce, squeeze of lemon -> mix then add some water until a  saaaucey consistency💦 .

Butterbean mash + kale & sausage salad🌱✨🌱 Don’t get me wrong I love regular mashed potatoes as much as anyone but I saw this recipe by @thefoodmedic and thought it sounded interesting so i thought I’d try it out! It actually turned out so delicious and creamy so would deffo give it a go!! I also added in some steamed cauliflower that i needed to use up which made it a little lighter✨ It was perfect paired with a warm salad and ofc some tahini dressing (because when do I ever not drench everything in tahini). .

For the salad: Sauté mushrooms with a little garlic + dried herbs. When they’re almost done add in your kale + lemon juice. Top with some cherry tomatoes, olives, leftover roasted cauliflower + chopped up @heckfooduk italian chicken sausages (veggie sausages would also be delish!!) ✨✨ .
Tahini dressing: 1 heaped tsp of tahini, splash of apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp of soy sauce, squeeze of lemon -> mix then add some water until a saaaucey consistency💦 .

Ich liebe dieses Gemüse, man kann so viele tolle Sachen daraus zaubern (siehe Waffelrezept von gestern😉).
Und heute habe ich Low Carb Schoko Brownie´s gezaubert.
Ich habe eine kleine Auflaufform dazu benutzt und als Süßungsmittel ein Geschmackspulver verwendet.
Ihr könnt aber auch Eyrthit mit 20g nehmen oder ein anderes Mittel was kaum Kalorien hat.
Wer keine Mikrowelle hat, der kann das ganze im Backofen bei 170 Grad Umluft für
ca.20min. backen.

The macronutritients for these meals combined are: 966 calories - 61 P - 73 C - 48 F - 18 Fiber. Feel free to adjust to your personal needs.

Ingredients according these macros are:
- 100 gram beef sausages
- 60 gram long grain rice (raw weight)
- 210 gram Brussel sprouts
- 130 gram fresh salmon
- 100 gram spinach
- 50 gram pomegranate seeds
- half an avocado
