Should of done butt/leg day today, but I didn’t. I’ve missed the gym the past four days. Anniversary, sick 😷, then family stuff, sometimes things happen. Am I mad at myself for missing, nope. On the bike!! It felt good to get the heart pumping. It wasn't long but it was enough to improve my mood. 😊 .

My core is still sore from Saturday 🙌🏼 Such a fun workout, it was tough but we also laughed a lot. 31.5 weeks! Feeling large and can’t fathom growing for 8-9 more weeks.🤪 I’ve been feeling a little lightheaded lately and realized that I’ve been eating a little too much Easter candy and not enough iron and protein...sooo my dr recommended I freeze my cadbury eggs and save them until after the pregnancy...we’ll see 😜...but I did start an iron and vitamin C supplement. 😉

Good news is my first workout I was able to bench 75 lbs which is a PR. Bad news is that when I went to do my walk/run I had pain spiking though the top of my foot and had to quit half way through. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow.

I can’t settle for just anything, my daughter is watching me 💕

Some days I still can’t believe I’m a mom and this precious angel is mine. 
I also can’t imagine my life any other way.

This little human changed my entire life. She sparked something within me and I’m so grateful.

Before she came into my life, I was content. I had a job. I had a place to live. I was healthy and happy but something always seemed to be missing from my life. I couldn’t seem to figure out what it was.

Then E came along. Being her mom meant a lot to me. And I was determined to spend our time together. I wanted to be there to watch her grow, explore, and learn new things. I realized I wanted more.

So I took a chance and joined a network marketing company. It was a low risk decision. Worst case scenario, nothing would change and I would get to use a really good hair product. Best case scenario, my entire life would change!

Sometimes in life we just have to trust ourselves. We have to say what it is we want and do what we need to do to have it.

I was scared and had no idea if my plan would work, but I also knew that one day, I would want to be able to tell E one heck of a cool story about how I made it possible to be home with her every day.

I know she watches every thing I do and she’s starting to imitate me. E has come to events, parties, and even joins team calls on occasion.

She made me reevaluate my entire life and I couldn’t be more grateful. I hope one day, she takes a note from my book and goes after all of her dreams. 💕

Don’t be afraid of the things you want and don’t limit yourself to a life that just makes you content.

Sometimes one little step right outside of your comfort zone is what you need to discover a life full of joy.

What’s the most important thing to consider when choosing an eating plan that’s right for you? Here are 3 questions to ask yourself to make sure it’s what’s right for you.💪🏻😘

1. What are your goals? If it’s just to lose weight (at all cost even making you feel like dodo and killing your metabolism), then there are LOTS of options. But if it’s to get healthy, (you know actually feel better with more energy and better sleep) then you will need to be more picky and follow a plan that teaches you how to invest in your health.

2. How does your eating plan make you feel? Feel like rubbish, have crazy cravings, feel deprived or anxious/ stressed about food, chances are you aren’t going to follow your plan long, no matter what your results are. BUT if you wake up feeling rested, have energy to exercise, feeling empowered and educated about food choices, are able to enjoy food then chances are you have found a plan you will follow (aka a plan that over time will actually work).

Thoroughly been enjoying our week of fun in the warm Florida weather. It’s exactly what I’ve been craving and needing!

We’re visiting family with just a little work mixed in. While it’s a blessing to be able to travel and work, an extended break from it all has definitely been needed! I love my routine when we’re at home, but even as much as I love it, I was starting to get burned out. Mom life also becomes just a little more tiring when you’re pregnant and chasing around a toddler who no longer is napping predictably! .
It’s amazing what the ocean, open air and sunshine can do for your mental and physical health. Let’s not forget about grandma help too! I’m feeling so refreshed and recharged ☀️🌊🙏🏼❤️

It’s so important to prioritize our rest and mental well-being! Just as it’s important to nourish, exercise and rest our body, our mind needs rest and nourishment for clarity and creativity. Spending time outdoors, in prayer, with people I love, accepting some extra help, and getting outside of my normal routine has helped to recharge and motivate me again.

Exercising outdoors, yoga on the beach, some extra sweets I don’t normally have, and the Whole Foods salad bar have also done wonders for me 😁💕

Thoroughly been enjoying our week of fun in the warm Florida weather. It’s exactly what I’ve been craving and needing!

We’re visiting family with just a little work mixed in. While it’s a blessing to be able to travel and work, an extended break from it all has definitely been needed! I love my routine when we’re at home, but even as much as I love it, I was starting to get burned out. Mom life also becomes just a little more tiring when you’re pregnant and chasing around a toddler who no longer is napping predictably! .
It’s amazing what the ocean, open air and sunshine can do for your mental and physical health. Let’s not forget about grandma help too! I’m feeling so refreshed and recharged ☀️🌊🙏🏼❤️

It’s so important to prioritize our rest and mental well-being! Just as it’s important to nourish, exercise and rest our body, our mind needs rest and nourishment for clarity and creativity. Spending time outdoors, in prayer, with people I love, accepting some extra help, and getting outside of my normal routine has helped to recharge and motivate me again.

Day 1 of 75 #WD75challenge
1. Clean eating for 75 days. No cheats.
This will be one of the easier tasks I have to complete in the next 75 days. 
I’m not a huge fan of following diets. Instead, I prefer to create long term lifestyle changes/habits. HOWEVER, being in the health and fitness world these past few years, I have learned that healthy food habits don’t come naturally to everyone - some people need a written out diet plan to follow (and that’s okay).

I grew up with great food habits. I have a mother who made fresh, home-cooked meals everyday and she also made sure that I ate my veggies and fruits on the daily. Which is why eating clean and intuitively come naturally to me (mother has been vegan for 30 years. I’ve spent about half my life being vegan. It works great for some, however it’s not for everyone).
Even though I will never again claim a food diet such as keto and vegan (just using those as examples because they are popular atm) I CAN say that over the past couple of years, I’ve personally experimented with keto, vegan and fasting - so I can better understand the structure and help guide those who need a plan to healthier food habits.

SO what will the next 75 days look like for a person who doesn’t follow a “diet”?
- I will remain #dairyfree & #glutenfree. Only animal products I eat are fish and eggs.
- No fried foods
- No food dyes/artificial flavors/processed foods/sugar (I already do that)
- The only sugar I will consume will come from fresh fruits and (sometimes) dates.
- Eliminate any foods that have the ingredients carrageenan, maltodextrin, or dextrose. Those are ingredients I’ve been working on eliminating from my life permanently, however I was slippin’ during the holiday season and was eating foods with those 3 ingredients. 🤮
- Cook at least one new recipe per week
- No eating past 7pm
- I’ll add more as the days go on and I find areas I can improve upon. Make sure to follow my stories for #cleaneating ideas. 💚

The excuse I hear often from non-gym members is that they don’t know what to do, so I hope my videos have helped give people some ideas! Today I blasted my quads at the end of my workout because I feel like I haven’t shown them enough love lately. Enjoyyyyy.

I haven’t weighed myself in a while but I’m around 145lbs standing at 5’4  around 25% body fat 💪🏻 Iv birth two children 👧🏼👦🏼and have stretch marks on my thighs and 🍑! But I’m ok with that! I’m not perfect and won’t claim to be.. i live my life in balance, eating a little to no carb diet and being active with my kids while maintaining my goals 🏋🏻‍♀️.. My daughter stayed home today (she wasn’t feeling well last night) and decided that she would make me lunch today while I was working on my jewelry. So thoughtful right?! #happymom She knows that simple foods are my fav, easy to make, and easy to clean up but so, so good for you! The most important thing I did today was figure out how to fit the horse in the baby swing 😂😂😂😂😂and yes she has on snowmen and Christmas trees and 5 bracelets and a huge pale blue necklace . An hour before this she was dressed in full Elsa garb with a crown and full braid 😂😂😂😂😂😂She makes me laugh hysterically at least once a day. I so love my Allie Kate and I am treasuring every minute with her 💕💕💕💕

Your glutes are the largest, most powerful muscle groups.  They help power you up, down, forward, backwards and side to side.

I’m back from my Spring Break/staycation, which was grrrrreat! Before the break started, I’d planned to press pause on some activities, but as the week evolved I felt like letting go of even more including... social media. You know, sometimes you just need a break to rest, relax, and recharge so that when you come back, you're strong and invigorated.  It was so worth it!

I’ve been slacking in my running, and my only real reason is because I absolutely hate being cold.  It was sunny and I couldn’t even look outside without dying to get out and run!!! Thankful for muscle memory & my rowing machine for keeping me in check when I’ve been a total slacker. Lol. ☀️

Heard this at church yesterday and it really spoke to me!! Every single part of that is TRUE!! THE HABITS...
Not the thoughts, not the things you did every once in a while, the HABITS.
YOU FORM.... Not your momma, your best friend, the diet, the book, the magic pill, YOU!!
ON THE MOUNTAIN...
Meaning you climbed to the top while pushing through firming those habits. And I don’t know about you but reaching a mountain top probably doesn’t come too easy.
THROUGH THE VALLEY...
Through it, past it, away from it. Not there to stay.
💕 
Too many don't push long enough to form habits.
Too many wait on someone or something else to do it for them
Too many miss the view from the mountaintop because the climb was too hard or took too long. 
And way too many dont go THROUGH the valley, instead they choice to stay there. 
Don't settle friends. If you want a change, need a change, make it happen. 
You can't do it alone!! Lean on HIM to get you through!! He blesses us with every tool we could possibly need.  Look up for help to climb that mountain and push through that valley!
Always here to help, encourage, pray for you. Yes we workout and clean up our nutrition in my bootcamps, but we work on SO. MUCH. MORE than that!! ❤️🙏

Heard this at church yesterday and it really spoke to me!! Every single part of that is TRUE!! THE HABITS...
Not the thoughts, not the things you did every once in a while, the HABITS.
YOU FORM.... Not your momma, your best friend, the diet, the book, the magic pill, YOU!!
ON THE MOUNTAIN...
Meaning you climbed to the top while pushing through firming those habits. And I don’t know about you but reaching a mountain top probably doesn’t come too easy.
THROUGH THE VALLEY...
Through it, past it, away from it. Not there to stay.

Too many don't push long enough to form habits.
Too many wait on someone or something else to do it for them
Too many miss the view from the mountaintop because the climb was too hard or took too long.
And way too many dont go THROUGH the valley, instead they choice to stay there.
Don't settle friends. If you want a change, need a change, make it happen.
You can't do it alone!! Lean on HIM to get you through!! He blesses us with every tool we could possibly need. Look up for help to climb that mountain and push through that valley!
Always here to help, encourage, pray for you. Yes we workout and clean up our nutrition in my bootcamps, but we work on SO. MUCH. MORE than that!! ❤️🙏

If you would like stronger and more toned tricep muscles here are 3 exercises that are perfectly safe to do during pregnancy and postnatal.

The first video a quick preview of the exercises then swipe, save and tag to see the full description of each.  I would suggest you add one or two of the exercises into your pre and postnatal workout. .
Exercise 1:

Super Slow Tricep Press to reverse Plank
.
I LOVE this exercise and we have been doing in the live 6 min core workouts too. .
Count up on the press 1, 2, 3, 4 and then lift up for 2 on the bridges. 
Keep the exercise super slow and controlled. perform 8-10 reps.
.
Ensure you can control the load with your core muscles during this exercise.
.

Exercise 2:
.
Kneeling Tricep press - this position is ideal up to 30 weeks and once your diastasis is functional postnatal.
.
If after 30 weeks and early postnatal you can choose higher support so there is less stress on your weakened linea alba. I would suggest the back of your couch/wall or kitchen workbench.

Exercise 3:
.
Hip Bridge Tricep Press with Extension
.
In late pregnancy and early post, you can just do the bridge.

What am I SUPPOSED to/EXPECTED to look like exactly? If looking like you had a baby is related to fatness or chubbyness then I looked like I 'had kids' before I ever became a mother.

I'm sure comments like these are harmless and perhaps even meant as a compliment. BUT I get frustrated by perpetuating the myth/stereotype/expectation of what a mother SHOULD look like. We have enough on our plate.

Becoming a mother brought me to a whole new level of knowing my body. Pregnancy, birth, and beyond shaped and continue to shape me in new ways. I learned to love my body as it grew and morphed beyond my control. I am who I am and look like I look BECAUSE of my history. More than ever I choose food for its nutrition and move from a place of love, joy, and curiosity.

I'm not quite sure what you look like if you "look like you've had kids" (maybe you're wearing one or covered in food/diapers/coffee?) But if this is you, wear it proud. You created life and you're damn strong. What you look like doesn't define you. Love your body and move from love.

I use to not be a huge fan of training back, but now I love getting in a killer back day! & I really love getting to see the progression too! 
This morning I kept it simple & stuck to these 4 cable exercises. 
5 sets of 12-15 reps on each. Challenge yourself on that weight too! .
🔹️wide grip lat pull downs
🔹️UH narrow grip pull downs
🔹️wide grip rows
🔹️v bar pull downs [ to chest ] ..🔥these are killer
Finished with Pull-Ups 
3 Sets AMRAP [ not videoed ]

Who remembers the @walmart Jean's from my stories?! I decided to pair them with a body suit from @forever21 ,thigh high boots from @forever21 (pleaseeee bring these back)a statement necklace and a jacket.

I got so many compliments from my tias( and if you know  tias, it has to be amazing for them to give you a compliment )😂😂.

I asked them to guess where they were from and they all guess #oldnavy 🤔🤣😂... 🌸
These Jean's were super comfy!! I didn't feel like a busted can of biscuits and they were super soft and flattering. I will definitely buy another pair. Being bottom heavy it's not easy finding Jean's, they'll fit around the waist but I'll look smooshed at the bottom  or they'll fit at the bottom and they look really loose around the waist.  So @walmart definitely did it right and they were only $17 .. #winning!!

Starting week 10 of my marathon training!! I can’t believe it! I’ve never ran so much in my life! My goal is just to be able to finish my marathon and not die.... 😂 I’m not too worried about time or pace. I just wanna be able to do it and feel strong too. I got a little worried this weekend because last week we went on a trip down to Zion National Park and I went for a run before we hiked around all day and at the end of the day my right foot was super sore on the outside of my arch... i don’t know if it was from the run or from the hiking but I listened to my body and didn’t do my long distance run on Saturday cuz I don’t want to get injured 😬 I’ve given it a few rest days and it’s still a little sore but getting better. Going to take it easy this week and be cautious on my runs! Happy Monday friends! 👊🏼

3 weeks ago I was getting ready to go to the hospital thinking I had to get induced when my water broke spontaneously and the next morning I had this beautiful girl. Life is much busier now, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Thankful for a healthy body and healthy kids
