Hello instagram! To update YES I am still here. Yes I have been consistent with working out at least 3 days a week and I am so proud of myself. ๐Ÿค—๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ†๐ŸŽ‰ Just thought itd share a story where I came to realization of my journey: I got sick over the weekend. Like super sick where I couldn't eat, work or take care of my babies ๐Ÿถ. On top of that every muscle in my body felt like it was being torn apart and rebuilding from the #HIIT itd been doing for a month. I cried because it was so hard and hurtful going through the physical pain. Then I had to think, being almost 250 is just as painful because my body still hurts from the weight. Just a year ago I was 80 pounds lighter and the contrast physicaly hurts. I can't move nearly as well. It hurts mentally because witnessing your body change in an unwanted way while still feeding into habits hurts your self esteem. It also hurts seeing your family and close friends suffer from illness due to poor choices in wellness and you coping for their care by gourging yourself. So my conclusion was this: I have to pick a hard. A hard that damages me or a hard that futhers me. Working out and staying consistent isn't supoose to be easy. Even if I were 80 pounds lighter, I would still have to push myself to a physical max that challanges me. The "hard" never stops. I feel this line of thinking is helping with consistency. Why did I quit so many times with working out? Because it was hard and I was afraid of change. I figured if I just kept my calories low enough I could avoid working out consistently. There are truly no shortcuts on this journey. Ive been looking at the scale and haven't seen much change. I have gotten better in class but feel my eating habits are still a coping mechanism in daily struggles. So I haven't gained weight but haven't lost what I expected. The plan is to keep pushing while slowly refining my diet. I got back from my trip Sunday evening (my usual grocery day) & didnโ€™t have time to shop or meal prep. Out of my norm, I went last night so I could have healthy options the rest of the week. I hate the word โ€œdietโ€. It implies that what youโ€™re doing is short term and temporary. I also feel we have constructed a negative and restricting meaning to the word, and it implies that you are you are deprived of something. What I prefer to use with myself and with clients is eating in a calorie deficit, or eating for your goals.

That being said, I love making macro-friendly meals taste like their higher calorie counterparts! Here is a very easy recipe for 0-sugar and dairy-free โ€œrice puddingโ€

Ive been obsessed with rice pudding since I was young! This receipe is a nice alternative and sooooo easy to make. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
What you will need: 
20g brown rice hot cereal 
Plain liquid stevia 
Cinnamon 
Pink hymilian salt
โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
The how to -Bring 3/4 cup of water to a boil with 2 twists of salt and the rice cereal together 
Once boiling, reduce to low and cover with a lid. -Stir occasionally and cook for 8 minutes 
Remove from pot and add cinnnamon and a few drops of liquid stevia to give it the desired taste (I did 4 drops) -May add a bit more salt or stevia if desired -Stir and enjoy hot. Iโ€™m sure you could eat it cold as well but have not tried it that way yet.

Remove from pot and add cinnnamon and a few drops of liquid stevia to give it the desired taste (I did 4 drops) -May add a bit more salt or stevia if desired -Stir and enjoy hot. Iโ€™m sure you could eat it cold as well but have not tried it that way yet.

A booty ๐Ÿ‘ blaster like you wouldnโ€™t believe.  Iโ€™ve been doing this here and there for quite sometime with some cheap resistance bands.  I finally got some good ones and i think I died a little inside.  My only regret is trying them for the first time after leg day! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ 1 minutes stair master, 1 minute Jacobs ladder and 30 second recovery, and repeat for 30 minutes!  #dead ๐Ÿ’€

Size 14 jeans were getting too big, so had to go down another size. Fully in a 12 now! Still shocked they actually fit. Every time I try on a new size I fully expect them not to zip and somehow they keep zipping. I started this journey at an 18. Itโ€™s taking some time for my mind to adjust to this new bod, itโ€™s still so surreal that Iโ€™m actually doin the dang thing.

The issue here is that people are poorly informed and sometimes donโ€™t know what the best way is and are mislead down these extreme challenges and end up restricting all kinds of food from their diets ๐Ÿ˜จ This creates an unhealthy method of fat loss and will ultimately end up failing because one reason:
