had myself a wonderful afternoon 👏🏼 spent some time outside, worked out, made peanut butter cookies, read a good book, got some #inmanreview studying in, and made the ULTIMATE LOADED BAKED POTATO for dinner 🥔 sautéed peas + corn, tomatoes, avocado, black beans, + homemade vegan ranch 😋 now to catch up on ‘this is us’ 🥰

昨日はファスティング明けの友達が遊びに来てくれたので、rawランチを作りました🥣
ファスティング後、からだの吸収力が高まっているので、rawfoodは最適だと思います✨
ちょうど先日受講した講座で、キッチンヒーラーマニュアルも入手したので、そこから
☆和のキャロットジンジャースープ
☆柚子こしょうドレッシング←パスタソースにしました。
を作成。
あとは、トマトとアボカドサラダにパプリカを添えて🍅
スムージーはほうれん草とリンゴとキウイ🥤
キャロットジンジャースープ、すっごく美味しい💗少しアレンジして講座で出せたらいいな☺️
すごく喜んでもらえてよかった🎵
ファスティング、私も興味はあっても、「自分は食べられないのに、子供の食事作らなくちゃいけないし、絶対無理だわー」と思っていたのですが、
私と同じようにお子さまがいるお友達がちゃんとやりきっている。。😅
一週間で三キロ痩せたそうですよ。体も軽くなり、肌も調子が良さそう✨
結局は、やるかやらないか、自分の意思次第なのだなと反省です💦

The base is cauliflower rice, caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, ground beef seasoned with homemade taco seasoning, fresh guacamole, red onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.

Crispy tuna cakes with a yummy salad of baby romaine, creamy avocado, spicy radish, and perfectly boiled @vitalfarms eggs, all tossed in my homemade buttermilk ranch.  Sustainable seafood is very important to me, and the only canned tuna I buy is the one from @wildplanetfoods.  It’s so good, I will eat it straight outta the can🙌

FYI before reading this just know I’m not sponsored by chickens 😂) This week you’ll probably see the media saying eggs are no good. A recent study showed that people who were consuming eggs had 1.1% more chances of developing heart disease. This study is big, and for the purpose of insta I’m going to summarise it. 
It was an observational study, it wasn’t a bad study at all it had good methods of research... although it does have flaws and things that make me question a few things.
It had a 17 year follow up with participants, they were asked about what they ate at the beginning of the study and again follow up ( 17 years later) Think about much your diet and lifestyle changes in 5 years? Let alone 17 years 🤦🏽‍♀️ There are MANY other factors that can influence your risk of heart disease... ( Example: John Smith got fired from his job, was stressed started drinking, smoking and stopped exercising but still ate eggs 🤔) Also, when you eat eggs, what do most people eat eggs with? Bacon 🥓 🙈 Which is a processed meat with high levels of saturated fat which we know isn’t the best for our heart. 
There are many other associations here which need addressing. My problem here is the way the media runs with that small difference to push their agenda and get a quick story. 1.1% is small, and in the grand scheme of this is not enough to say “eggs will kill you” My take home message here 👉🏻 Read articles throughly, not just the headline before coming to conclusions 👉🏻 Keep eating eggs, they are a complete protein and high in vitamins and Minerals 👉🏻 Ask a Dietitian if you are worried, there are so many other things we could improve in our diets instead of removing eggs 😊

Tag a pancake lover! One of the best parts about these pancakes is that they only require 4 simply ingredients!! I've made them several mornings and they're always a big hit! Also, they store well, so I've whipped up a double batch, and then warmed them the next day in the toaster oven! Cheers to healthy pancakes!

Easy 4 ingredient Pancakes
- 1 cup of oat flour
- 1 cup of unsweetened plant- based milk
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tsp of baking powder

Method: mix up all ingredients in a blender until smooth! If the batter seems too thick, thin with a little more milk and fry in a pan over medium! Top with coconut yogurt, maple syrup, fresh blueberries and cashew bits. Enjoy 🌱

All our 🍴 is in the dishwasher. 🤷‍♀️ So I made an “eat with your hands” kind of meal. Baked tofu fingers with @uncledougies wing marinade.

Recipe for the coffee oatmeal:
-3/4 cup rolled oats
-1 tbsp chia seeds
-1 cup plant-based milk
-1/4 cup brewed coffee
-1 tbsp maple syrup
-1 tbsp nut butter
-optional: 1 serving vegan protein powder (I used @nuzest)
In a jar, combine all the ingredients and let set in the fridge for 3+ hours. Mix again before serving & enjoy!

Topped with yogurt & berries these pancakes are an easy, delicious breakfast to fuel your mornings — here’s the recipe:
-3/4 cup flour
-1 tbsp coconut sugar
-1 1/2 tsp matcha powder (I used @naoki_matcha)
-1 tsp baking powder
-1 tbsp nut butter
-1/2 cup applesauce (or 1 mashed banana)

Throwing it back to this pasta #twirl tonight since my stomach is all sorts of alley-oop tonight! I made the family some Italian subs (which normally I’d want to go ham on but nothing is sounding remotely appetizing). I feel like picture of pasta just make the world a happier place, so here it is! Sun-shiny GF @ancientharvest quinoa pasta- sautéed with some @chosenfoods avocado oil and some pecorino Romano cheese (back from before when cheese didn’t hate me— they were simpler times 😉). Like so many of you I’m sure, we had a crazy day today and I cannot wait to just sit down for 10 seconds after the baby is in bed, throw my feet up and read up on ... potty training. 😆. We’re turning it up these days— adulting in it’s finest moments! I hope y’all are having the best week ever and have a lovely night!!! 😘😘😘

This is a dish that my son requests and loves. He is my picky eater too. I actually haven't made it in some time and honestly it came out so good!!!!! .
My Mother-in-law JoAnne Moeller came to visit from Florida and I was telling her all about the nutrition plan I'm getting certified in. Just have to take the test and will be a certified Master Coach. I get so excited to talk about nutrition and can never learn enough about it. .
While I was telling Joanne and Nick all about it, I prepared this whole dinner and literally it took 15 minutes to put it together. I threw it in the oven so we could catch up some more and the clean up was like 1,2,3 done. That's my kind of dinner!! I have found so many recipes that the whole family can enjoy that no one even realizes it is healthy. That's what this program is all about that I'm getting certified in and how I have been eating for 12 years. .
I love that the program has a whole part on how to get the whole family involved in eating healthier, a whole section for kids, kid friendly recipes that I want to make for myself they look so good. I learned some tips and tricks. Our children are exposed to so much junk and sugar and it isn't always easy to get them on board but it sure can be done. This will give you the tools to do it. .
➡️Quick version of the recipe - Take Boneless chicken breast, slice in half to make a pocket, put organic nitrate free ham and a slice of cheese, spray the chicken with avocado oil spray or olive oil, dip in panko bread crumbs mixed with a little parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning. Bake at 400 - 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes until cooked through. Delish and Enjoy!!

In family practice 👩🏽‍⚕️, I treat so many conditions that are caused by the absolute garbage that is considered the norm.  We live in such a fast paced 💨 need it now, society that it is no wonder that over 70% of the adult population and 33% of children are overweight or obese. 😨

What do we do about that?? 🤔 I am always amazed at how little people know about what they are putting into their bodies.  And I knew very little for quite some time as well. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Patients tell me DAILY “I only eat vegetables and fruit, why am I gaining weight?!” 🥗🍎When I ask more questions about what “vegetables and fruit” mean, I often learn that patients are eating canned corn, beans, potatoes, rice and fruit.  None of those are bad foods necessarily but they are all very high in carbohydrates and very low in protein. It is very hard to reach your weight loss goals with this combination of macronutrients. ⚖️

We are all tired, in a hurry, addicted to sugar, and have been taught that food can satisfy every emotion. 🤗😡🙁I have been guilty of all of it too! 🙋🏽‍♀️Learning to read labels, eat in proper portion sizes, avoid addictive added sugars and preservatives, meal prep for you and your family, while still being able to LIVE and ENJOY life is KEY to making a change. 💃 I encourage you to pursue education regarding your nutrition and learn how food can be medicine!

100 grams grape tomatoes, chopped
400 grams cooked chickpeas, washed and drained
4 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/2 red capsicum, diced
1/2 green capsicum, diced
4 artichoke hearts, cooked
1 bunch broccolini, stems removed
6 olives, pitted and halved
2 tablespoons sundried tomatoes
2 spring onion leaves, chopped
A handful of fresh basil leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon parsley, chopped
A dash of salt
A few dashes of pepper
1 1/2 cups 1-3 day leftover cooked rice

Method
.
Heat oil and cook onions and garlic until onion is translucent. Add grape tomatoes and cook until soft. Add chickpeas and cook for a minute. Add the rest of the vegetables, herbs, and spices. Cook until broccolini turns a dark green and the mushrooms darken. Add the rice and mix well. Serve and enjoy.

This is is a meat-free adaptation of the traditional recipe and is full of fragrant spices turmeric, coriander, cinnamon and cumin. It is really satisfying with chunks of sweet potato, carrot and black-eyed beans and a tangy zing of lemon juice and fresh parsley. ⠀

1 tsp lemon juice (optional, I haven’t used it because of my HI). Instructions:

When you need a giant cookie... but please share it, ok? 💚👍I love this peanut butter and chocolate chip skillet cookie! 📸 @vegamelon 🍪 Recipe: 1/3 cup peanut butter, 1/4 cup applesauce, 1/3 cup maple syrup (adjust based on sweetness of chocolate chips), 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 cup whole-wheat flour (or use the one you prefer), 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp baking powder, pinch of salt, 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips. Method 👉🏼 Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a cast-iron skillet. In a large bowl, whisk together peanut butter, applesauce, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Sift in flour, baking powder + baking soda, and salt. Add in chocolate and fold until combined, then pour the batter into the skillet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the center is cooked through; let it cool for 10 minutes before serving. That’s it!!

Método 👉🏼 Precalienten el horno a 176°C y cubran con un poco de aceite el skillet (sartén de hierro fundido). Crispy, soft and SO delish! These thin chicken cutlets served with rich and fragrant cauliflower rice are just perfect for those busy weeknights when you want to come home to a delicious gluten-free, low carb dinner.

Serves: 4
INGREDIENTS:
-The chicken
2 large boneless and skinless chicken breasts halved horizontally to make 4
1/2 cup fresh Parmesan, finely grated
Salt and fresh cracked pepper
2 large cloves garlic, grated
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
4 tablespoons unsalted butter divided

-For the cauliflower rice
3 cups riced cauliflower (about 1 medium head)
1/2 cup white onion, chopped
2 large cloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons vegetable stock
Juice of one lemon (+ zest, if you like)
Red chili pepper flakes, optional
1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped

Raw Vegan Strawberry & Vanilla Cheesecake! 🍓 via @rawspirations
Required: 21cm round cake tin with push out base.
♦Ingredients Method
⭐BASE
• 1 cup raw macadamia nuts
• 1⁄2 cup gluten-free oat or almond meal
• 6 plump medjool dates - pitted
• Pinch himalayan crystal salt
⭐CHEESECAKE LAYER
• 2 cups raw cashews - pre-soaked for 5 hours
• 1.5 tbs coconut oil
• 1.2 tsp vanilla bean paste
• 1/3 cup pure maple or rice malt syrup
• 2 tbs organic coconut cream (full fat)
• 1 heaped tsp lucuma powder
1. Place all base ingredients into your food processor and pulse until finely chopped and ingredients stick together.
2. Press evenly and flat into base of flan tin.
⭐CHEESECAKE LAYER
1. Place all cheesecake ingredients into your food processor and blend until smooth, the longer you blend the smoother the consistency!
2. Once you have a smooth and creamy texture, pour over base and place in freezer to set (approx 4+ hours).
⭐TOPPING TOPPING
• 1 punnet fresh organic strawberries - diced
• 1⁄4 cup unsweetened coconut shreds
1. Sprinkle over the top of cake when ready to serve!
