First time getting my makeup done professionally~~
This is my awkward “ahh do I show teeth or not?” smile. :B
Sooo at a bridal show earlier this year, I signed my fiancé and myself up for a photography studio’s model call (trying to increase the diversity of their portfolio). Free portrait and “glam” session? YES please 🤩 of course, if we do end up wanting any prints/copies of photos, it’s gonna run us about $300 minimum.....hmmmm...will have to see later.
Anyway!! It was delightful to see what a professional would do (I did share some “inspo” pics of the soft, neutral look I wanted), and I am SO impressed at how she applied the foundation! Really like skin!! With a brush! Encourages me to try some new strategies for application (and maybe a couple new products......maybe.....probably not, my budget says no :P) She also did such soft, thorough blending for the eyeshadow, and showed me how she cut the falsies to match the length of my eye.
I’m also loving what she did with my hair :’) There was still a soft wave the next day, so I kept my hair down and got some compliments at work, hehe.
