Demonializar frutas e vegetais falando que o "serumano" não precisa de fibras , causar polemica e se desfazer de profissionais e da ciência de verdade, jogar sua cultura no lixo e o que é pior essa porcaria de dieta vem sendo encabeçada por pseudos  profissionais da saúde como  médicos, nutricionistas e profissionais de educação física  que só fazem isso para atrair mais pessoas leigas e se aproveitar falando em nome de uma falsa saúde .

Esses insetos nunca aprenderam bioquímica,vias metabólicas e fisiologia e vem vomitar asneiras achando que só pq emagreceu tem saúde, mas não é assim que se esfola um bode.

Frutas fazem bem pra saúde e todo mundo e a ciência de verdade sabe disso.

Como fica a questão dos fitoquímicos, polifenóis, antioxidantes esses que são encontrados nos vegetais, frutas e verduras que vem sendo estudado a tanto tempo , mas esses bando de burros acham melhor uma foto de antes e depois  e falar que é saúde e que vc se laske!

Cortar fibras só vai fazer vc ficar intupido pense num negócio ruim é não cagar, e sem contar que penseeee numa ruma de merda que vai custar o olho da cara.

O máximo que vc vai ganhar com essa nova moda é uma constipação e um distúrbio alimentar, pois essas mesmas pessoas são as mesmas que veio da paleo, lowcarb,Dukan, keto, akitins, dos pontos e do carai de asa.

O inseto enche a boca no perfil falando que come só animais e mais de 1kg de carne por dia, o que é que tem a ver o fundo com as calças?

Vc não precisa entrar na caixa , vc só precisa ser vc e respeitar seu corpo e suas preferências.

I don’t subscribe to a specific diet, with the exception of my own allergies: eating real food is a healthy diet.

Having said that, I do get a kick out of creating meals around various diets and diet trends using the healthiest ingredients.

This is a paleo meal, free of gluten, soy, dairy, nuts, etc., has a high protein count, and is very low in carbs!

Ingredients: zoodle, shredded chicken, fresh pressed garlic, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, avocado oil, garlic powder, fresh cracked lemon pepper, and red pepper spread with garlic and eggplant.

The scale might lie, but the mirror sure doesn't!  It's time to slim down.  That's something I've probably said 6 out of 7 days of my life.  I had great luck eating #keto and #paleo but those lifestyles are too restrictive! I guess I gotta get back into #mealprep and counting my calories.  That's probably the only way I can sneak an IPA into the mix!  Can we have it all?  Ask me around the 4th of July if I'll take off my shirt in public for the answer!

I have digestive issues. Pain, bloating, IBS-C and allergic like reactions.  So it's been recommended to me for years to go gluten and dairy free. Turns out it's also recommended for people with connective tissue issues. .
I'm curious what everyone has done to learn their trigger foods.  I've managed to figure out some like certain raw vegetables but I feel like a systematic approach would be beneficial. .

Hiii!!! Took a little break from posting after my whole 30! I’ve re introduced a ton of foods & had my first piece of bread this weekend 🤗🥖 I’ve been pretty much eating 80% whole 30/paleo especially during the work week. This is my mess of a random dinner whole 30 style: chicken, tostones, guacamole, broccoli & salsa 🥑🥔🌶🍗🥦

Hiii!!! Took a little break from posting after my whole 30! I’ve re introduced a ton of foods & had my first piece of bread this weekend 🤗🥖 I’ve been pretty much eating 80% whole 30/paleo especially during the work week. This is my mess of a random dinner whole 30 style: chicken, tostones, guacamole, broccoli & salsa 🥑🥔🌶🍗🥦

After painstakingly making meatballs for this cabbage and beef soup my mom wanted for her birthday dinner, the meal turned out sour. 😔 WHY, we wondered...did the coconut aminos go bad? Could it have been the cabbage? Or the bone broth? Or maybe it was the beef? But we just bought all the ingredients two days ago! I miserably sat through dinner feeling like I failed my mom after an already stressful day of water pipes bursting and us without water for 12 hours today and we were too tired for a fancy dinner out. WHAT WAS GOING ON? .
I suddenly had an idea. 
Me: “Mom, did you try to de-calcify the water kettle again today? Even though we had no water all day and you just cleaned it last night?”
Mom: “oh yeah! Wait. Did you use that kettle for the soup base?”
Me: “yeah we didn’t get water back until 7 so I heated up some water to get dinner going faster.”
Mom: “um, there was about a cup of vinegar in there.”

.
We starred at each other and bursted out laughing!!! 😂😂😂
.
.
This is definitely going to be a birthday dinner we will never forget! Thank goodness we steamed some artichokes and other vegetables. We’ll make it up tomorrow 😉

Working second shift a lot at the hospital, I often find that my nutrition is on point for 90% of my day (thanks to packing my own food), and then I come home from work at 11pm starving and can easily destroy a hard day’s efforts in a matter of minutes.

Tonight was a new night and mentally I told myself the after work fridge raid wasn’t going to happen. Instead, before heading to my parking lot shuttle bus, I filled and drank most of a 24 oz bottle of water and then snacked on some portioned Paleo trail mix (from last week’s Costco haul).
.
Now my commute home is only about 15 minutes, so snacking right before catching the shuttle to my car gave my body just enough time to register that I was full by the time I pulled into the driveway. I got home and didn’t even feel the need to open the fridge!
.
After eating, our bodies take about 20 minutes for our hunger hormones to notify the brain that we are full. During this timespan is when major damage can be done in terms of overeating. Now you could very well be hungry or you could just be thirsty, so always have a full bottle of water on hand and drink up before snacking on some smart choice foods. Eat slowly and give your body the chance to “catch up” on its hunger cues. You’ll find yourself eating smarter and staying much more hydrated too!
.
This is also a great way to prevent overindulging at a party or event.

Dinner tonight! This is the 80 of the 80/20 principle that I always mention. Simple roasted organic chicken drumsticks, broccoli, and carrots in a cast iron. Cast iron does all the work.  I'm going lighter in carbs at the moment, so I'll be able to pull up less weight come the audition. I never have cravings when the food tastes and looks this good!

5 ingredient paleo, gluten-free pancakes! 🥞 .
I love upgrading a classic food like pancakes with healthier and simpler ingredients! Coconut flour, used in this recipe, is a great alternative to white or wheat flour because it’s high in fiber, protein and healthy fats. Coconut flour is also low in sugar and digestible carbs, and has a low glycemic index. All around wins!

This post was very much inspired by my friend’s @livevitae recent pancake post. Full ingredients and instructions below:
.
What you need:
(Makes 4 pancakes)
1 ripe banana
4 large eggs
1/8-1/4 cup water
1/3 cup coconut flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
*stevia if you like it sweeter*
.
What to do:
1 - Mash the banana with a fork
2 - Whisk eggs and combine in a bowl with banana, coconut flour, baking soda and the optional stevia
3 - Mix well then add an 1/8 cup to 1/4 cup water depending on desired consistency
4 - Heat a pan with some oil or non toxic spray oil
5 - Using a 1/4 cup, scoop pancake batter into the pan and shape into a circle. Cook for about 2 minutes each side on medium heat. (I covered pan with lid too)
6 - Repeat for 4 pancakes total
7 - Enjoy with berries or maple syrup.

I’ve said this before and I will probably say it a million times again! 
No one ever told me that when I have kids they will teach you the lessons you need very quickly! They will shine a mirror up to your face & sometimes it will smash you in the face 😆! I new I was a little crazy but they have taught me I can actually be bat shit crazy! I never new how much I loved alone time & quiet time, I never new how much potential for massive unconditional love I had! And I always New I was a passionate firey person (anyone who knows me can tell you 😉) but until these two little angels were born I didn’t realize just how hot that fire in my belly could be! 
The fire & passion to help create a better world, the fire & passion to do what I love so they can see its “normal” & to be kind & brave so they can go out & be kind & brave!

Chicken curry soup from @realfoodwithjessica 😍 Y’all this was AMAZING!! So luscious and spicy. I didn’t have fire roasted tomatoes on hand so I added a teaspoon of smoked paprika and it was SPOT ON. And because it was an @instantpotofficial me, it was super quick too. Make this!!!

I have my brightly coloured fruit and veg (roast carrot, cucumber, quick picked zucchini, plum, avocado). I have seaweed (seaweed sauerkraut, kelp sprinkle, powdered seaweed and sesame sprinkle). I have healthy fats (avocado, extra virgin olive oil) I have fermented food in the sauerkraut and I have wild caught seafood (pan fried Calamari with S&P and lemon. Tag a friend who would love this Grilled chicken spinach and feta burger with roasted sweet potato fries and cauliflower tabouli.

To make the burger combine 1 pound of ground chicken with 1 packed cup of chopped cooked spinach, 2/3 cup of crumbled feta, 1/2 cup chopped fresh dill, 1/2 cup fresh chopped parsley, 1/2 cup chopped scallions, salt and pepper to taste. Preheat grill pan on medium high heat or prepare a grill. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl with wet hands. Form the burgers into 6 patties. Grill on each side for 5-6 minutes until golden and cooked throughout. Serve with tzatziki sauce. ~
For the cauliflower tabouli:
1 ½ cups riced cauliflower
1 cup grape tomatoes chopped
1 cup mini cucumbers, chopped
1 cup fresh parsley roughly chopped
¼ cup scallions, chopped
2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
1 lemon juiced and zested
2-3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
In a medium bowl add riced cauliflower, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, parsley, scallions and red onion.  Combine well.  Add lemon juice, lemon zest and extra virgin olive oil.  Toss and combine then season with salt and pepper to taste.

Winner winner chicken dinner 🙌🏻🥰 Finally tried the new Trader Joe’s mozzarella & tomato sauce-stuffed gnocchi tonight, and it’s SO good. Like a light and fluffy and saucy-cheesy eat-the-entire-bag kind of good 😅Fortunately I had a few helpers on hand, so that didn’t happen (they all gave it a 👏🏻😍 like I did), but I’ll definitely be stocking up next time I’m at TJ’s because (dare I say it), I miight like it more than the cauliflower gnocchi 🙊.

Spiralized All-the-Greens Salad🍀

{ It's FINALLY starting to feel like Springtime *might* be coming!🤞
I'm definitely noticing all of the Spring vegetables available at the markets right now.
Time to take advantage of all of this seasonal goodness!
makes 4 servings 
Ingredients:
4 cups mixed spring greens of choice 
2 small/med zucchini, rinsed, ends trimmed, and spiralized

1 cup English peas, blanched*

1 cup asparagus, blanched*

1 cup snap peas, blanched*

1/4 cup radishes, chopped

1 ripe avocado,diced * to blanch peas, asparagus, and snap peas…place them in boiling water for just 45 seconds, drain, and immediately place them in an ice bath for a few minutes.

Creamy Garlic Dressing Recipe:

Makes about 2 cups {Serving size for dressing is 2 Tbsp per person}

Ingredients: • 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar • 6-8 cloves garlic, crushed • 6 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice • 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley leaves • 2 tsp. sea salt • 2 tsp. dijon mustard • 1 Tbsp. raw honey 
Instructions:

1. Place oil, vinegar, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, mustard, and honey in a high powered blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

2. Stir immediately before using

3. Store in an airtight container, refrigerated for about a week.

Combine all salad ingredients with 1/4 cup dressing, gently toss, and add more dressing to taste if desired.

If anyone is curious, I added some chamomile flowers in to the salad, mostly because they are so pretty but they are edible 😀 💚Rachel

1 cup asparagus, blanched*

1 cup snap peas, blanched*

1/4 cup radishes, chopped

1 ripe avocado,diced * to blanch peas, asparagus, and snap peas…place them in boiling water for just 45 seconds, drain, and immediately place them in an ice bath for a few minutes.

Creamy Garlic Dressing Recipe:

Makes about 2 cups {Serving size for dressing is 2 Tbsp per person}

Ingredients: • 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar • 6-8 cloves garlic, crushed • 6 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice • 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley leaves • 2 tsp. sea salt • 2 tsp. dijon mustard • 1 Tbsp. raw honey
Instructions:

1. Place oil, vinegar, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, mustard, and honey in a high powered blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

2. Stir immediately before using

3. Store in an airtight container, refrigerated for about a week.

Combine all salad ingredients with 1/4 cup dressing, gently toss, and add more dressing to taste if desired.

If anyone is curious, I added some chamomile flowers in to the salad, mostly because they are so pretty but they are edible 😀 💚Rachel

Recipe: Cut 1-14oz block of extra firm tofu (pressed and dry) into about 3/4-inch cubes and bake in oven on lined baking sheet 400F until golden and slightly crispy, about 20 minutes. Cook 4oz wide  Lo Mein noodles as per packet directions. Whisk sauce: 1/3 cup low-sodium tamari or soy sauce, 1 tbsp + 1 tsp maple syrup (or to taste), 2 tbsp rice vinegar, 2 tbsp garlic chili sauce, 2 tbsp minced ginger, 1/4 tsp cayenne, 1 tsp sriracha (optional), salt to taste. Once tofu is ready, heat skillet and add sauce. Cook until sauce starts to bubble. Add baked tofu and 4 sliced scallions and keep stirring while heating. Quickly add cooked Lo Mein noodles and stir for another minute or so until heated through. Remove from heat and add cooked veggies of choice.  Fold in 1/4 cup chopped roasted peanuts. Add a few squeezes of fresh lime.
