Often when we get a medication, we just assume that we have to keep taking it until it's finished. But some medications are used to treat chronic conditions and have to be taken for a long time. Other medications are just used to treat short term conditions and only need to be taken until the symptoms are gone. It can be confusing at times BUT you pharmacist can help you answer these questions. Talk to your local pharmacist to get clarity on how long you should be taking your medication.
March is Pharmacist Awareness Month. Learn something new about your pharmacists this month.
