I went to Melbs yesterday with my mummy and I can’t hide my excitement of traveling with a train! That’s probably the highlight of my day (while I know mum’s highlight of the day was to shop around DFO and H&M with tante @annisakustiwa 🙄)
It was two hour trip to Melbourne and I sat nicely in my pram, see that 🤣
Note: My mum did a hardcore exercise by pushing my pram uphill to catch a tram 😅😅🚂🚂

Snagged a “suite” upgrade at the DoubleTree by Amsterdam Centraal Station which is less than a 5 min walk away. Was awesome to have a direct view into the station, even though the window positioning meant there was a lot of glare. Trams, trains, bikes, and canals galore! Overall, a comfortable way to spend the evening resting up after a quick 1hr 15min flight from Prague. As usual, stellar service from the KLM crew. *Somehow* they manage to serve a small meal during that short of time to all of the passengers on board as well as offer duty free shopping (as compared to any of the major US airlines where you’d be lucky to get a cup of water on a flight the same length). Europe Business class is always a bit odd - the same seat as economy with no extra frills other than the middle seat being blocked off for selection and two coat hooks on the back of it. None of this would have been possible if it wasn’t for the unconditional love and support of my family. @laloulah you have been my pillar of strength during the last 22 weeks of my prep. Picking up all the slack with our 3 children and running the household like a boss❤️ My coach @dimitrikastrappis  can’t thank you enough bro. Your attention to detail and perfect planning got me in the best shape and condition possible. I’ve never been drier and harder come stage time. Peak week protocol was next level and it showed.
To my training partners @chloejbent and Brett Ramsey. Thanks for pushing me in every training session and get more reps out of me than I thought I had 🙌. The workout is at the end of this :-) Also the best thing happened yesterday🌞 I went to my GP DR for normal check up stuff n told her about all these issues I’ve had with my medication after being told I have PCOS n she said she has another medication to put me on since I should not be gaining weight or having issues with my medication after 7 months of using it😭 GUYS I AM SO HAPPPYYY this is the first Dr who’s like actually listened and acknowledged my concerns of getting so sick and gaining weight with how active I am WITHOUT telling me it isn’t the medication and it’s in fact my fault!! Anyways, here’s today’s workout:

Here was most of my leg workout for the day, excluding a few exercises such as hip adductions and seated calf raises at the end. Think you can train legs on my level? Try this workout for quads:

Leg extensions
5 sets: 20 reps w/ 10 sec hold on last rep
.
Reverse hack squats (no lockout/Tempo: (2,0,2) -> Superset: Close footed barbell squats on plate (toes facing outward/no lockout)
4 sets: 15 for hack squats, 10 for barbell squats
.
Bulgarian split squats on smith machine -> Superset: Walking dumbbell lunges (10 steps down & back)
3 sets of 12 for Bulgarian, 10 steps down & back for lunges
.
Close foot leg press on toes (no lockout/Tempo: 5,0,2)
4 sets of 12
.
Hip adductions -> Superset: Seated calf raises
3 sets of 20 each (10 sec hold on last rep of adductions)
3 sets of 12
.
Quad dominant leg day for today as well. Focusing on the quad from all different parts: outer, inner, center etc.

Our Aqua Speed butterfly #TipTuesday of the week from our Fitness Chief Onieka (@oniekat): The arms extend forward and kept shoulder width apart. The palms should face downwards. 
This can be done by rotating at the shoulder and reaching the hand in front of the body as far as possible, and then pushing the arms down along the sides of the body. This is done to condition and build flexibility within the shoulders. When the stroke is performed both arms will move in unison, however to practice the sweeping motion, swimmers can use a flutter board and practice one arm at a time.
