Dear @primark ,
What the actual Ras!
I'm just going to let you know, that I feel like you're doing zero for the everyday women you claim to cater for, do you know what happens to some people's mental health when they see things they may not fit in to now or ever, ah well you may play the 'out of stock in certain sizes' but in the last three times I've been there (and trust me it has been long gaps in-between) I have experience the same thing.
Firstly, you have resized all clothing - now the people that are in-between sizes have nowhere to go.
Secondly every single rack of the clothes in particular I looked at were either SMALL - IN A 10-12, an XS - 6-8 and XXS - 4-6.
So basically you can just be left to feel that both ends of the spectrum have been left to feel inadequate. The people that have fought tooth and nail to be in 16-18 and the people that cannot physically be any smaller. Did you think to look that you could be increasing more hatred for self with these women purchasing your clothes.
You see while all brands are now screaming out about self love, they are changing the way they make and source their clothes, changing sizing, enforcing the media beauty standards and causing more harm to people.
Imagine that you just put someone off joining a gym because they've been overweight their entire lives but cannot for 3 months find something in their size. Or imagine the tiny lady that finally got into the smallest size after starving herself - to find out there is now a new smaller size.
Do you want us to die?
Fuck you Primark
As a lady of size, it took me 25 years to be able to shop in your store and after today I will never shop there again; yeah, I'm only one person - but I'm a fucking whirlwind. Please do watch this space.
