My definition of progress is evolving daily. These pics don't say much unless you know that in twelve years time the woods had taken over the future back yard of our new home. Plus you'd need to know that we live in the spaces we're remodeling.
A logger will come soon to take roughly forty 90-foot pines from our mere half acre. Since our recent move from 4.70ish acres, we've had to find places to temporarily place tractor implements, fruit trees that need re-planting, and anything that belongs in a garage we haven't built yet. (Storage bills are not fun.) Living in the remodeling is just daily patience, and that's all I can really say about that. Grateful is definitely an attitude you choose.
So. Progress has become small cleared spaces, an evening outside grilling our supper, walking hills for our health, and taking in the view.
Bathrooms and the living room are in the remodel phases. The kitchen rebuild is coming soon, and these are all good things. But my nerves can take a beating.
Sometimes, progress is actually seen in the small triumphs and the moments you take to breathe it all in.
